TXW Lightweight Title

The TXW Lightweight title once had a spotted history of on-again/off-again champions. Today, however, it is one of the most active and sought after titles in TXW.

Paul Mabe	TXW Overdrive December 31, 2002	---	At the last show of the year, Kirk and girlfriend Jan Lowder ganged up on Paul Mabe, nearly overwhelming Mabe until his fiancé, Price McKennan, came down to even the odds.
Kirk Johnson	Thursday Night Rage October 17, 2002	---	After a nearly three month hiatus from the Lightweight division, Kirk Johnson returned to best the man who had a strong hand in pulling him out of it months before when he pinned the Boogie Man.
The Boogie Man	Monday Carnage September 9, 2002	One	The debut of the Lightweight title on Carnage saw Cero faced with another unfair fight, unfortunately, Boogie, Ebony, and Ivory proved to be too much for him in this title v. title match. In his second match of the night, Boogie retained against Jason Ford Jr. at Payback.
Cero	TXW Warpath August 31, 2002	---	With a little help from Kirk Johnson, Cero overcame Paul Mabe and Jan Lowder to become the Lightweight champion.
Paul Mabe	Roleplay Board August 6, 2002	---	CM-51 decided to focus on his Crusader title and gave the Lightweight title to Paul Mabe for slapping his teammate, Jan Lowder.
CM-51	TXW Bedlam July 25, 2002	---	CM-51 picked up the title by cheaply eliminating a distracted Kirk Johnson from Bedlam.
Kirk Johnson	TXW Fearscape June 27, 2002	---	Kirk finally got to incorporate his love of drinking into this finisher-filled, title match. Kirk retained on a DQ after Jan Lowder kneed him two weeks later against Paul Mabe.
Paul Mabe	TXW Nemesis May 30, 2002	---	With the help of a pair of ankle cuffs, Paul Mabe walked out of Nemesis with a huge win over former Lightweight champion, Lucky13.

Mr. Impavid	Thursday Night Rage May 2, 2002	---	A week after failing to pin Kirk Johnson, Mr. Impavid fought him once more in a ladder match with much greater success.
Kirk Johnson	Thursday Night Rage March 28, 2002	One	In a special, two falls match, Kirk Johnson defeated the Avalanche. The next month at TXW Phenix, Kirk defended against Mr. Impavid.
The Avalanche	Thursday Night Rage March 14, 2002	One	The Avalanche was the first wrestler in the history of the Lightweight division to actually meet his predecessor to the title, in the ring. The match was a fast paced encounter, spoiled only by I Team interference in the final moments. The next week he retained against Beta.
Lucky13	TXW Hellfire January 24, 2002	One	This was one of the Cae's few matches without Eiya by his side. A mostly timid match, with one high spot near the end with Lucky earning his title the hard way. The next month at Faceoff, Lucky fought off Beta in a surprisingly good match considering their varying styles.

Loud-Mouthed Stevie Drake	Thursday Night Rage May 10, 2001	---	Making the move from winless wonder to Lightweight champ, Stevie Drake defeated The Icecream man.

Skator Die	TXW Payback September 23, 2000	---	On the debut of the Lightweight title Skator Die won a four-man ladder match against Rayn, Eiya and Nilz. Becoming the first ever champ of TXW's Lightweight Division.
