The
Boogie Man, with a little help from his friends, successfully
eliminated Gunner and won the Hardcore title (as Chewbacca).
In a title vs. title match, Boogie bested
Sage Sawyer. Boogie retained
against Cartman at Warpath and then later against Cero
at Carnage in another title v. title match. At Payback
he defeated
Hockenbury. Later at
Overdrive he defeated the Cae. Next year at Faceoff he
snuck
away with a win over the returning title-holder, Grothgar. |

In
this special guest referee match between Gunner and Cero,
partner of Axl, the ref, Cero expected at least a fair, and
maybe easy bout. He was in for a terrible surprise,
however, when his partner turned on him to join Bender in the
reformation of Project: Mayhem. Two weeks later at Rage,
Gunner proved
his worth by besting former champion, Sage Sawyer. |

Sage's enemy his title. |

of the Star Wars universe. Chewbacca was later revealed to
be the Boogie Man. |

When
two of TXW's most fun-loving men met in the ring, nobody
expected this much hardcore action, but they got it. The
Boogie Man picked up a big
win over Five the next week on Rage. |

Taking
advantage of the Bird's psychological assault on Grothgar during
the match, BBL edged out a victory over an irate Grothgar.
BBL also scored a PPV victory over Bruce the Vampire, in a
rather forgettable
match. BBL scored a fruity
win over A2b's Alpha the next month at Faceoff. |

It was
Grothgar that BigBadLard beat to become the TXW Hardcore Champ
on the October 25th episode of Rage. When Grothgar got a second
chance at Overdrive, he didn't waste it and won the title, with
only a little help from Mr. Carter. On January third,
Grothgar defended
his title against the Cae. |

In a
match between newly crowned TWF hardcore champ, Grothgar, and
the TXW Hardcore champ it was hard to pick a favorite, but in
the end BBL, seemed to want it more, fighting off not only Grothgar,
but Jack Walton also, to win the match. |

The first
ever TXW hardcore title match was a four-way match placing
BigBadLard, Vlad the Impaler, The Cae and Mr. Carter in a
brutal match up, but when it was all over, BigBadLard held the
title. Two days later he
defended against an I, followed by Hillbilly
Bear at Rage. He finished his run next Monday by besting
the Ryft. |
