TXW Results

In TXW's three years, there have been quite a few matches run and quite a few wrestlers have had a hand in that process (around 80, by my count). So it is no surprise that many great matches taken place in the TXW arena, and out of those great matches have risen several more matches that, for their own unique reasons, have become known as classic matches. From that short list, we looked even deeper and choose only the very, very best. This list has been kept purposefully short, not to insult those who did not make it, but rather to honor those that did. Now, in one consolidated space we present the very cream of the crop, the best matches of TXW.

Mr. Incendiary versus Phom (Barbed Wire) at TXW Payback for the Crusader Title (September 23, 2000)
- Phom and Incendiary fought several matches during their feud that could easily be included in this section, but this one simply overshadowed them all. After carrying the biggest feud of the time for a month, this brutal encounter turned both men into TXW legends.
The Bird versus Grothgar (Three Stages of Hell) at TXW Hellfire (January 24, 2002)
- After a month of feuding, Grothgar and the Bird fought in this epic showdown. The first pinfall was decided in a standard match, the second was in a hardcore match. The third and final stage of the match was fought both in and outside a Cell. The match served as the perfect end to a wonderful feud and would go far in establishing the Bird as the next TXW Champion.
Andy Sykes versus Vangea (Hell in a Cell) at TXW Phenix for the TXW Crusader Title and the TWF Championship (April 25, 2002)
- Ten months after meeting and starting their career-defining feud, Andy Sykes and Vangea would faceoff in this death-defying match. Filled with both technical triumphs and brutal subjugations of one another, this match carried on the torch of the Crusaders in a way few wrestlers could.
