The Klingons of Kuled

High Centurion EI'MMit walked onto the bridge, the Commander turned around.
"High Centurion, Kuled was attacked today by Klingons, you and High Centurion N'ko take one of the Rel'lek class ships and offer assistance The Sunheart will get back to you soon, we'll be getting the Klingons."
"Very well. High Centurion N'ko please meet me on the
upper wing at the Ravenmocker."
"On my way." he replied.

High Centurion Eah EI'MMit, Head of Medical, RSW Sunheart

"The Ravenmocker is away Commander." said Y'hto'mit.
"Okay, set in a course for the Klingon Border, warp 9.9." Aoj said and then sat down.
**Three Hours later**
"The Lance and Rea's Helm have blocked off two Klingon ships Commander."
"Ok, set in a coarse to intercept the Klingons, engage cloak."
"We'll get there in fifteen minutes, Commander."

Commander Aoj t'Edi, RSW Sunheart

"All right, Lowmen, if you do this one more time I'll throw you out of the airlock." Dian said in tough voice and pointed at the destroyed bridge of the warbird.
"If it was the Sunheart and I happened too be asleep- I never would've waken up, because you are bad enough to loose a battle to a damn Federation Ambassador class starship! Who gave you the authority to serve aboard a Romulan vessel, anyway?" Dian finished her angry speech, looking at her officers.
"And who gave you permission to serve on a Romulan vessel, pale hair?"one of the lowman smiled- but the smile quickly disappeared as a weak disruptor burst hit his knee, throwing him 15 meters away.
"The same guy who taught my how to shoot so good without actually killing the person." she pulled the disruptor's power switch, and aimed it to his head. "Perhaps we will check my mid-range gunnery skills as well?" She pressed the trigger- and the disruptor hit 3 inches above the Lowman's head."I need to get better at this. Anyone else want to help me practice?"she smiled, and looked at the other four lowmen.
"Ma'am no ma'am."
"Good. Lowman Luc, accompany him to sickbay. You two- Dahar, take the helm and Shakoori will take the Weapons. I'll be the Commander once again.  Computer, run Kalis weapon train 27."  Dian sat on the Commander's chair and watched the viewing screen. "This is a random encounter near the Federation/Klingon Neutral Zone. We take a random intruder... Dahar, what's the status?"
"One starship getting out the warp... identification- Galaxy class USS.Enterprise."
"Let's destroy her again. Ready to fire." smiled Lowman Shakoori. Dian looked at the view screen- they were still cloaked.
"Alright, Dahar. What's the best maneuver now?" she asked.
"Not to confront them face to face to avoid direct torpedoes. Approach as close as possible from the behind."
"Make it so. Shakoori- prepare the disruptors, and be ready to decloack."   Dian lied back and used the short free time to tie her hair into a ponytail. The Enterprise, meanwhile, began to run sensor sweeps and approached the planet. Finally, the warbird was right behind the Enterprise, a little above.
"Ok. Prepare to execute the blade dance maneuver." she smiled. "Lets do it."  The warbird decloacked and immediately shot all of her torpedoes concentrating on the upper shields. then Shakoori transferred the disruptor to fire one long, strong burst. The Enterprise's bridge was completely destroyed, and so was the upper decks. The warbird began to move in full impulse, spitting the remaining torpedoes at the Enterprise. Then they decloacked again. The Enterprise managed to shoot them twice, without much success.
"Report."
"Heavy damage to their decks 1-3. Except that no other damages. Their shields are at 60% and upper section in 13 but restoring fast. Our
shields are at 93%."
"Alright. Looks like they are escaping us. Pursue them but stay cloaked.  Can anyone tell me why I ordered you to attack their main bridge? And not something useful like engines and weapon systems?"  There was silence, then she answered her own question. "While the loss of systems can be repaired, the loss of personnel, especially high ranked, can't be fixed. The Enterprise just lost all of her major crew, guys.  She is now driven from engineering by a green crew. Even if they return to their starbase without further harm. It will take months to get this ship new personnel, and I don't think they'll be as good as the old.. but most important- their current crew are a bunched of rookies, but we aren't.  Lets end their military career."
"Decloacking." The warbird appeared behind the Enterprise, which prepared to jump to warp, and released the last of its payload. The aft shields were gone, then the warp coils.
"Get us out of here!!" Dian yelled at Dahar, which followed orders. They left the Enterprise without warp power, and it was a sitting duck.
"Alright. we still have shields on 63%. I'm impressed..Shakoori, contact sector 137 command and tell them we have a gift. Transfer all energy available to restore shields and disruptor energy.. Ok, decloack.  Computer, end program."The holosuite returned to the previous position, and Dian clapped her hands.
"Perhaps I was wrong.. I guess we can make a Romulans out of you. Great job! Just do the same once we're in real fight." she saluted at Shakoori and Dahar, which smiled widely and saluted back. Then she left the holosuite.

Centurion Dian Kalis, Head of Weapons and Security, RSW Sunheart

"Rea's Helm has destroyed one of the Klingon ships. The Lance has forced the other back into Klingon space." said T'Fel.
"Ok" said the Commander, "set a coarse for Kuled, warp 7. Engage. Sub-Commander you have the bridge."
"Yes Commander." The Commander walked off to her quarters.

Sub-Commander Antook k'Chin, RSW Sunheart

The Sunheart slowed down and enter Kuled's orbit. The Federation had also sent a small medical ship to help the Federation population of Kuled.
"T'Fel", the Commander asked,"the Federation ship, what is it's status?"
"Shields down, no weapons." he answered. "To bad we're not in battle with them, it'd be a fun fight." she smiled. "Anyhow, hail them, ask if they want to coordinate in this medical mission under the name of peace between our empires."
"Message sent...they agree."
"To bad, I was hoping that we were going to get to kill them."
**Five hours later**
"Commander," High Centurion EI'MMit walked onto the bridge, "Kuled is back to normal, I think we can leave now."
"Very well, T'Fel, give the Federation ship our thanks." She rolled her eyes. "Y'hto'mit., get us back on course for the zone."

Commander Aoj t'Edi, RSW Sunheart

Dian sat in her position on the bridge, monitoring the Federation ship's movement. She turned toward the Commander.
"Looks fine to me so far, ma'am." she smiled."Very good." Dian turned back and watched the Federation ship, finally turning away and moving to half impulse as a preparation to jump to warp.
"I'm bored. Now that the mission is accomplished can't we have some fun?"chuckled the security lowman who was standing next to Dian. She looked at him angrily and didn't say a thing, then looked back at the medical ship.Thoughts like that she already had before. To run away from the Romulan military life, to defect.. to join the Federation as a tactical- or so she believed her job was referred to in the Federation- officer aboard a peaceful Federation vessel.. those thoughts disappeared quite fast, as she looked at her commander. Her mother- dead mother- was the enemy. Her father made a mistake. She WAS a mistake, but she was Romulan enough to cover it.That's what she kept saying to herself. But now, gazing at the federation planet, she wasn't that sure. 'Living in peace' she thought. 'no need to hide my true origins'. She nodded her head, sadly. That was not possible. She rose up from her chair and hailed to Lowman Shakoori to replace her. Then she headed to her quarters.
****Centurion Kalis' personal quarters*****
Once again, Dian found herself lying on her bed thinking sad thoughts.  Her origins again making her trouble, which she thought she got over with. She was considered one of the best in her class, which made her one of the highest potential officers in the empire. She already got promoted relatively very fast to Centurion- and she felt abandoning it will be a mistake. Then again..."Elements, I need some action to make me forget about this thing. Why everything so quite? I should've gone with the Tal-Shiar cloaked convoy to attempt destroying the Founders' homeworld instead of staying here in the boring neutral zone.". With this self note, Dian left the room, heading to the lounge. She decided a drink might help.

Centurion Dian Kalis, Head of Weapons and Security, RSW Sunheart

"Major Nibor, self-log, spacetime 7991.72. We have made it to the Gamma quadrant safely. In one hour we will be attacking the Founders homeworld. Admiral Karot, the leader of this attack, has appeared very strange lately. Personally, I'm not sure if he's truly Romulan. For now I must leave, we have been ordered to rest. End self-log."

Major Nibor t'Rek, TSS Es'Yob

Dian stood in the middle of the A-Grav training room finishing to wear her training suite and connect the training pistol. This pistol shot a short energy beam that caused no actual damage, but caused the trainning suite to become stiff in the hit spot, and calculate the injury's power. If the shot was good enough, the entire spacesuit would've become stiff and the helmet's glasses would turn black- which means 'dead' or 'unconscious'.She finished to tie her hair to a ponytail- she discovered that some of the staring at her long blond 'genetic flaw' hair were actually admiring looks,so she decided to keep it organized- and meditated for few seconds to get concentration. "Alright, folks." she turned at the entire Sunheart security staff of the Sunheart and raised her hands. "In case of actual Klingon attack, we will have to defend ourselves from boarding. As you must now, the Klingons are trained in boarding more than us and are also very muscular and.. brutal. Not to mention ugly asHabala"Dian noticed some of the security officers smile- that was a good sign. "Sub-centurion Galus, you'll command squads Shalat and Mazleg while I will take Kipod and and Yavchush. Ok? The first training will be an open-area0-Grav combat. Only the strong, accurate and careful survives. Fight well.Computer, engage practice session no-grav 1."Suddenly. a huge cloud of smoke filled the room. While the smoke was on,the gravity was lowered to 0- and then the smoke slowly disappeared.Dian quickly whispered few last commands at the lowmen and pushed herself off the wall. Followed by her lowmen. There was still enough smoke to hide them from the enemy's eyes. She held the holding-bars to her left, and began scanning the area with her eyes, advancing with the bars- one hand on the pistol."Look alive." Suddenly, she heard shootings in the far side of the trainning holodeck and the lowman she placed as Gamma squad leader yelling in frustration. Dian took a quick decision. "Alright- all the people from me to lowman Galant will float to the 'ceiling' wall, the others keep advancing and cover us.. soon you will be able to see to a little further-but so will the enemy." she whispered."You forgot the enemy also have ea..." Dian squeezed the trigger and her squad members did the same, shooting at the voice's source. Dian pushed herself of the bars and floated gracefully toward the enemy squad, shooting one or two confused 'enemy' lowmen from time to time. Her other squad members joined her, taking advantage of the smoke and enemy confusion to approach the enemy lowmen silently and shoot them from short range.After25 seconds it was all over. Dian glanced at the 'dead' Mazlegs quad leader. "When you have to shoot- shoot. Don't talk. A terran phrase." She turned at the others- the smoke began to disappear. "Alright, Kipod squad- lets go assisst our allies. Crossover maneuver." the entire squad pushed herself from one side wall and floated in a line to the other, like a series of fishes. Finally Dian grabbed the holding-bar of the other side. She could feel something above her, then the dense smoke in front of her disappeared and she saw all of the members of Shalat squad, whispering among themselves and preparing an ambush for her. She quickly drew another trainning pistol, and began to shoot, knocking two other lowmen each time. Sub centurion Galos made a shot at her, disabling her leg, before she knocked him down as well."Computer, end exercise and return slowly to normal G. disband smoke"she looked at the others- more then half were 'dead' or out due to serious injury. But among her squad there was only one. She walked over Sub-centurion Galus and glanced at him. "I'm not pleased. Train your troops better. Computer- release all stiffed personnel in the holodeck in 10 minutes." she waved at the subcenturion. "Good day, Galus." and with those words she left the holodeck.

Centurion Dian Kalis, Head of Weapons and Security, RSW Sunheart

"Spacetime 7991.73. Major Nibor, self-log. The Es'Yob and the le'Rig are the only ships to survivor attack on the Founders home world, and we both lost half of our crews. Right now we are cloaked, but I am sure that we will be found soon. I have sent a message to command telling them of our condition. I believe that this will be the end off the Tal-Shiar. Our ship are going to make another raid tomorrow if we are still alive then. End self-log"
The Major walked out of her office and onto the bridge. It was an awful sight, the floor was stained green with blood, sparks flew for the walls. The rest of the ship was even worse. She decided to walk down to engineering and see how the repairs were going. In engineering the quantum singularity was hardly moving a sergeant walked up to her and handed her a report of the progress. So far life support was stable, they could go at warp 2.1 for an hour, the cloaking device was stable, weapons still off-line. She nodded and walked off to rest, she and everyone else knew that they would die within twenty-six hours.

Major Nibor t'Rek, TSS Es'Yob

p'Miw was sitting in her quarters when a message came in from Tal-Shiar command, level 4, the highest, most secure level. It took only a moment to read, but what it said was the end of a lifetime. The Tal-Shiar was ending, the loss in the Gamma Quadrant had been a fatal blow. 1000 Tal-Shiar agents would remain in the Tal-Shiar to teach new agents, other than that, everyone was being transferred over to the military.  She had been transferred to the Sunheart as a pilot with the rank of Centurion.  She stood up and looked over the room then stepped outside and went to see High Centurion N'ko.

Sergeant p'Miw, Pilot, TSS Es'Yob and RSW Sunheart

The bridge was still a mess, but that didn't matter anymore, Nibor sat at the navigation console, K'rik was sitting by the weapons, the engineer stood ready at her console. One more engineer sat in engineering to repair any problem that might come up. Her entire crew of four prepared for the end. The other ship had been destroyed last night when it's cloak failed, twenty Jem-Hadar ships had converged on it at once. The Es'Yob was alone ready kill and ready to die. The ship started to move forward, after fifty-three minutes of slowly moving towards the destination they made it. The Major turned around to look at the others faces and said with a sigh, "We are Tal-Shiar and we Romulans, we were cheated by the people on the planet below. We may not be able to destroy this planet today, but we will show them that the Romulan Star Empire will not die that easily. I'm sure that the rest of the Empire will finish this planet up and bring it under the powerful wings of our great Empire. And let me say, that I believe that the Elements are with us on this day, they are with each of you and will be with you forever. Now lets go get those 'Changlings'." The rest of the bridge nodded, smiled grimly, and started the final approach. As they started the approach three ships broke off from the rest and started towards them.
"Decloak?" "No,I'm going to head into the middle of the big bunch. Engineering, get your disrupter ready to shoot the warp core on my mark." A moment later a shot for the Jem'Hadar disabled communication.
"Drop cloak, raise shields, arm weapons."
"Gladly"
"Get the ship on the right out of the way."
"Ok"
"Engineer, get down to engineering and fire on the warp core in thirty seconds."
"Yes Major." Thirty seconds later the Major called out,
"Elements!" the crew joined in all of them crying 'Elements' as the warp core suddenly exploded destroying the Es'Yob and seven Jem'Hadar ships. And then the Elements came, and took them home.

Major Nibor t'Rek, TSS Es'Yob

k'Chin was sitting in the command chair on the bridge. They had arrived at the Klingon border several hours ago. Patrol was a boring job so the Sub-Commander got up and walked around the bridge to have a talk with some the Lowmen T'Fel.
"Lowman." K'Chin said.
"Yes sir?" "Just making sure you're awake." he said smiled.
"I am"
"Ok, make sure you watch those Klingons."
"Yes sir" And K'chin walked back to his chair to sit down.

Sub-Commander Antook k'Chin, RSW Sunheart

One Month Later...

Commander Aoj t'Edi sat in her office looking over the daily reports of the scans of the Klingon border. Rea's Helm, the only other dx'Enyaw class warbird in existence was also standing guard. For over a month they had just sat watching nothing happen, what a way for the two most powerful ships in the fleet to live, well, the crew needed the rest, it seemed another war was on the horizon. The Trifain Confederacy had been getting more and more warlike over the past few months. After a few more minutes of looking over reports and thinking of the inevitable war Aoj decided to go down to the Left Eye and meet the new Head of the Left Eye. As she walked onto the bridge Antook began to stand up from the command chair to allow her to sit, she motioned for him to stay down, he did. She stepped into the turbolift and went down to the Left Eye. Although she generally stayed out of the Left Eye, she felt she should at least greet the new bartender. She walked over to jur'Y,
"Mas" she asked, "so how's your new boss?"
"Pretty good Aoj, he's over there." Mas jur'Y replied and then she went back to her job. Aoj walked over to the man Mas had pointed to,
"Hello," she said "I'm Commander Aoj t'Edi, you must be our new head, right?" And she waited for a reply.

Commander Aoj t'Edi, RSW Sunheart

Sa"Lo"Kin was going about his business, sorting the assortment of flasks and bottles into a way he liked and knew. The place was well stocked he had to admit and the personnel was good as well. Just as he was propping up some bottles, the Commander of the ship came towards him and greeted him.
"Hello there. And yep, you are right. I am the new Head of this place, Centurion Sa"Lo"Kin, at your service." He bows slightly, more a mock bow than anything real though. "And you must be Aoj t'Edi, the Commander of this ship, right?"

Centurion Sa"Lo"Kin, Head of The Left Eye, RSW Sunheart

Ael Ye'Lah was getting impatient. There was still another hour until High-Centurion N'Ko arrived to bring her to the Sunheart. Her time on theTalon was over, she had nothing to do. Her clay was packed away so she could not even mold a sculpture while she waited. She was very much looking forward to serving on the Sunheart. She knew that Commander Aoj t'Edi was a very honorable leader who served the Empire proudly. Ael felt privileged to have received the transfer that she had requested. Ael decided to head down to the lounge to get a mug of Ale to pass the time. When she got there no one was in the room except for the bartender. That was all right, she had already said her good-byes to those whom she wanted to, she didn't want to have to speak with Lowmen and Sub-Centurions who would undoubtedly have come to wish her luck had they been in the lounge. She sat at her usual seat at the bar. There was no sense in ordering anything, she always had ale. K'Broc always had it sitting at her place before she sat down.
"One last drink before you go Sub-Commander?"
"Yeah K'Broc. I still have 45 minutes left and I didn't know what to do with myself."
"I'm going to miss seeing you in that seat Ael."
"I'm going to miss you too K'Broc. But this is the chance of my career." Ael and K'Broc spoke for 1/2 an hour then there was a communication from the bridge saying that Ael's transport had arrived and was waiting for her to beam over.
"Have a good trip Ael," K'Broc said, taking one of her hands in both ofhis, "and good luck in your new position."
"Thank you!" Ael said and left the lounge. Her bags were already in the transporter room. She went straight there. She said nothing to the Transporter operator when she entered the room, she just climbed onto the pad. She took one last look around the room, glanced at the operator and said
"Energize!" She materialize in a shuttle. The pilot was standing a few feet in front of her. "Greetings High-Centurion N'Ko."

Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah, Head Ambassador, RSW Sunheart

"Welcome on board Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah," replied N'Ko. "I am High-Centurion N'Ko." He inclined his head politely. "I trust you will find your tour of duty on board the Sunheart as rewarding as I am sure it was on the Talon!"

High Centurion N'Ko, Head of Pilots, RSW Sunheart

"Hello there. And yep, you are right. I am the new Head of this place, Centurion Sa"Lo"Kin, at your service."  He bows slightly, more a mock bow than anything real though. "And you must be Aoj t'Edi, the Commander of this ship, right?"
"Yes, I just came down to meet you. I assume you've looked over deck 34?" He nods slightly, gesturing in a wide sweep over the place.
"This is just perfect Commander. I love it. It will be my pleasure to have this place running."

Centurion Sa"Lo"Kin, Head of the Left Eye, RSW Sunheart

At this point Centurion Dian Kalis, Head of Weapons and Security, is discovered to be half-Terren and leaves the military in shame...

Y'Hto'Mit sat at the navigation console. He knew that Sub-Commander K'Chin was anxious to get down to the Left Eye and meet the new bartender.
"Hour and a half left Sub-Commander" Y'Hto'Mit said with a smile.
"Until what?" Said Sub-Commander K'Chin trying to sound casual.
"Until you get off duty and get to run down to your favorite spot."
"Oh, you can tell?"
"Yes."
"Hmmm..." and Antook gazed off into the stars without another word.
++An hour and a Half Later++
Y'hto'Mit stood and allowed a young lowman to take his place. He walked off the bridge and down to his quarters to rest. Sub-Commander K'Chin on the other hand, stood and din't even wait to see if the Centurion that was taking over Command for the night made it to the chair. He rushed off the bridge and down to the Left Eye to have a drink.

Sub-Commander Antook K'Chin and Centurion Y'Hto'Mit, Head of Helm, RSW Sunheart

Sa"Lo"Kin, looked up as the Sub-Commander entered the room. He nodded agreeting from behind the now perfectly stocked bar. he had done a quick check of the deck and was currently doing some plans as to how to create some relaxation areas. Currently, he was writing a message in the internal network of the ship, asking anyone with good athletic ability who had time to come to him to offer courses for the crew if they'd like.
"Can I get you something Sub-Commander?" Sa"Lo"Kin asked as the Sub-Commander stepped to the bar.

Centurion Sa"Lo"Kin, Head of Left Eye, RSW Sunheart

He rushed off the bridge and down to the Left Eye to have a drink. Sa"Lo"Kin, looked up as the Sub-Commander entered the room. He nodded a greeting from behind the now perfectly stocked bar. he had done a quick check of the deck and was currently doing some plans as to how to create some relaxation areas. "Can I get you something Sub-Commander?" Sa"Lo"Kin asked as theSub-Commander stepped to the bar.
"Anything...anything at all to get my mind off those barbaric animals out there. Do you realize that we've been sitting here gaurding our border from those Klingons for more than a month! Even the Commander is showing signs of boredom." He sighed and waited for a reply.

Sub-Commander Antook K'Chin, RSW Sunheart

"Welcome on board Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah," replied N'Ko. "I am High-Centurion N'Ko." He inclined his head politely. "I trust you will find your tour of duty on board the Sunheart as rewarding as I am sure it was on the Talon!"
"Thank you High Centurion"
The rest of the trip was un-eventful. They neared the Sunheart and N'Ko activated the com.
"Shuttle B'ko to Sunheart requesting clearance to dock!" said N'ko. "Sunheart to B'Ko. You are cleared for docking," came the reply. The huge docking bay doors of the Sunheart opened and N'ko manoevered the small craft into the space provided. There was a gentle thump on the deck, bearly audible as the craft landed. He turned to Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah and politely indicated that she should proceed him through the exit doors of the B'ko.She stepped outsids and looked around admiriringly.
"Welcome to the Sunheart Sub-Commander," he said."Its good to be here at last," she replied. N'ko wanted to personally see to his craft before leaving the docking bay.  He spotted a lowman standing nearby.
"Lowman Yerdua...please escort Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah to herquarters,"said High Centurion N'ko.
"Of course, High Centurion N'ko!" she replied quickly. "If you please Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah." She motioned for the Sub-Commander to follow her.

High-Centurion N'Ko, Head of Pilots, RSW Sunheart

After meeting High-Centurion N'Ko, Ael realized how tired she was.She excused herself and went into the back of the shuttle to lie down.It felt like she had just put her head down on the pillow and N'Ko waswaking her up, telling her that they were 10 minutes away from the Sunheart. She hadn't realized how tired she really was.The last 10 minutes went fairly quickly. Then, there she was! The most beautiful Warbird she had ever seen. It took her breath away. N'Ko called the ship for docking clearance and then skillfully landing in the docking bay. When they were ready to exit the shuttle N'Ko turned to Ael and indicated to her that she show proceed him out onto the shuttledeck. Ael looked around the bay when she was completely out of the shuttle. Even the shuttle bay was impressive!
"Welcome to the Sunheart Sub-Commander!" N'Ko said formally.
"It's good to be here at last." Ael replied.
"Lowman Yerdua...please escort Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah to herquarters." N'Ko said to a Lowman standing near-by. Ael was sure that he probably wanted to check out the shuttle before leaving the bay.
"Of course, High-Centurion N'Ko!" the lowman quickly replied. "If you please Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah." The lowman motioned for Ael to followher.
"N'Ko," Ael started before she left "after I put my things in myquarters, I will report to Commander Aoj t'Edi, after that I was planning on going to the Left Eye. I hope you will join me there."
"I would like that Sub-Commander." he answered. "Good, an about an hour then." she smiled at him, he nodded at her and she followed the lowman out into the corridor.  As soon as they were out in the corridor the lowman started to speak.
"Your quarters are on deck two Sub-Commander. We call this deck the Ambassador's deck. You are currently the only member of the crew with quarters on that deck, but many officers work there during the morning and evening shifts."
"What job do you have onboard Lowman?" Ael asked her
"I work with High-Centurion N'Ko in the piloting division."
"Lowman, do you enjoy a good drink?"
"Yes, Sub-Commander."
"Then what do you say to joining N'Ko and I in the Left Eye in about anhour?"
"I would like that very much." She answered just as they were getting to the door of Ael quarters. They entered and put all of Ael's things down on the floor in the middle of the sitting area.
"You are dismissed for now Lowman. See you in a bit in the Left Eye!" Ael said.
"I am looking forward to it Sub-Commander." With that Yerdua left.  Ael took the most important things out of her bags. Her holo of her mother and father went on her desk, and she temporarily put her 3 sculptures she had made in places around the sitting room. She would find better places for them later. She was very glad that her quarters were so large. There was an extra room, which was where Ael decided to put her sculpting materials. It would be nice to have a whole room to devote to sculpting. Finally she shoved her bags with her clothes in them in on her bed and left to go and report to Commander t'Edi. The bridge was just one deck away from Ael's quarters. The Commander'squarters and office were also on that deck. She walked to the door of the Commander's office and rang the chimes.
"Enter!" she heard from the other side of the door.Ael entered a stood at attention a few feet from the Commander's desk.
"Commander," she said formally "Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah reporting in for acceptance!"

Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah, Head Ambassador, RSW Sunheart

The sub-commander left and N'ko re-entered the shuttle. He quickly secured the transit log and uploaded it to the ships computer. Then he sealed his shuttle doors and left the bay.Walking into the Left Eye he paused briefly to look around. Sub-CommanderAntook K'Chin was sitting at the bar chatting with the new bartender. N'ko walked up to them and pulled out a stool.
"Hello again Sub-Commander Antook K'Chin. Looks like you are pissed-off about those Klingon devils lurking out there!"

High-Centurion N'Ko, Head of Pilots, RSW Sunheart

"I should say so, I wish they'd send a couple of Vor'Chas for us to destroy or something...but the Commander said she's been talking with command and we're going to leave soon. What's been happening in your life?"

Sub-Commander Antook K'Chin, RSW Sunheart

Sa"Lo"Kin quietly listens to the conversation of the two officers. Being bartender, he knew he would hear many things and how to sort the things they said into categories like, "Good to mention", "Bad to mention", "Deadly to mention". Finally being satisfied with his post on the intra-ship message system, he sends the post, asking the crew members to tell him if they would wish to offer courses of any kind.

Centurion Sa"Lo"Kin, Head of Left Eye, RSW Sunheart

"You are accepted." The Commander replied. "Welcome to the Sunheart, Sub-Commander. I assume you found your quarters."
"Yes Commander. I had help from Lowman Yerdua, a very helpful girl."
"Good. I hope you will enjoy your tour on the Sunheart. You are dismissed." With that Ael headed down to the Left Eye to meet N'Ko and Yerdua. They were both sitting with another man at the bar. They were talking with the bartender.  Ael walked up and introduced herself to the Sub-Commander whom she didn't know, and to the bartender.

Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah, Head Ambassador, RSW Sunheart

N'Ko rose as Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah introduced herself. He had been nursing a Romulan ale and listening to the discussion while waiting for her to arrive. Now he pulled out a stool for her to sit.
"Would you care to have a drink with us Sub-Commander?" he asked smiling.

High Centurion N'ko, Head of Pilots, RWS Sunheart

N'Ko pulled out a stool for Ael to sit down on."Would you care to have a drink with us Sub-Commander?" he asked."Yes I would. N'ko please call me Ael when we are here for a social event."Ael sat on the stool that N'ko had pulled out and then ordered an Ale from the bartender who had introduced himself as Sa'Lo'Kin.

Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah, Head Ambassador, RSW Sunheart

"Of course! Ael," N'ko inclined his head politely in her direction and returned to his own seat. His drink was getting a bit warm. He hailed the bartender and he thought he could use a refill.
"Sa'Lo'Kin...may I have another ale...and make it a bit cooler this time?"   He turned to Ael. "We were just talking about those Klingon devils lurking outside our border. They are a waste of skin I say! ...And before I forget my manners let me introduce you to Sub-Commander Antook K'Chin."

High-Centurion N'Ko, Head of Pilots, RWS Sunheart

Antook hadn't really been listening until heard his name,
"Oh, I'm sorry, I was thinking...um...glad to meet you."

Sub-Commander Antook K'Chin, RSW Sunheart

He mumbles something about who knows the right temperature to ale's, but does as he is told. As he slides the ale onto the bar, he looks at the new comer, the female Sub-Commander Ael Ye'Lah.
"Can I get you anything?" he asks, his eyes scanning the woman thoroughly. Without averting his gaze, he says to the others. "Well, if you are that bored, why don't you try and sign up for one of the courses. Or even lead a course of your own? Some excersise would surely be a good idea if you all are so bored."

P'miw flew the scout vessel to   she slowed the ship down, contacted the bridge and waited for Mul.

"Do you have any courses set up already?" Ael asked Sa'Lo'Kin. "I would be interested in taking a martial art course. Almost any type would interest me. And, although it is not a physical activity, if anyone wants to learn how to do clay sculptures, I would be interested on giving a course on it!"Ael took a sip of her ale. It felt like she hadn't drank ale in weeks and weeks, when in actuality she had just had one before she left the Talon. Ael knew that she was going to like this new Warbird! The crew was friendly, they liked their ale almost as much as she did!!  The group talked a little more. Ael finished her ale and then excused herself and headed to her quarters. She had to finish putting her things away, and she also had to contact her father. She hadn't spoken toSenator Ye'Lah in over 4 months, and she hadn't seen him in over two years! The last time she had spoken to him she said that she wanted to stay on the Talon as the Sub-Commander, with dreams to one day be the Commander ofher own vessel. When she heard of the job of Head Ambassador aboard theSunheart, she had to apply for it. Diplomatic Relations was what she had went to school for, it was her main love, after sculpting.  When she reached her quarters she immediately set to tidying up her luggage. She hung all her clothes in the closet and put her personal grooming products in the bathroom. After she was finished cleaning, she stripped off all of her clothes and headed into the sonic shower. She took a long, relaxing shower and then she put on her robe and headed to her personal comm port. She placed a call into the Senate in Ra'tleihfi on Romulus. It took only a couple of minutes to get her father on the screen.
"Ael!! My darling, it's been so long!" her father gushed.
"Hi Daddy! How are you?"
"I'm fine dearest, how are you?"
"I'm good Daddy. I have news for you!"
"I hear that you have changed jobs."
"How'd you know?"
"I have sources. But I don't know where you are, I just know you aren't on the Talon anymore."
"No, I'm on the Sunheart. I am the Head Ambassador." she smiled at him."That's great Ael, I know that this is what you always wanted."
"It is Daddy, and I am very happy!"
"That's all that matters! And how is Aoj t'Edi?? I grew up with her you know?"
"Yes I know. She seems to be a very honorable commander. I am very privileged to get this post!"
"You deserve it Ael!" She just smiled at him again. She loved talking to her dad. She could leave the tough mask drop from her and just be herself. She didn't have to worry about impressing him.
"I have to go Ael, it's been great talking to you, but I have a Senate meeting soon."
"All right Daddy. I'll try to call sooner this time!!"
"You do that honey! I love you!"
"I love you too Dad." With that he was gone.Ael walked over to her couch and curled up with a Terran novel that her father had gotten for her. It was called "Gone With The Wind". She loved it.

After N'ko exited the Left Eye, he headed for the mess hall to get something to eat. His growling stomach wouldn't take anymore of Sa'Lo'Kin beverage without protest.  He headed down the corridor, through the access hatch and took left turn. He thought about about Ael's offer to teach a class in sculpture.  He knew he had no eye for art but the thought of trying his hand at it intregued him. He decided that after he finished dinner he would go by her quarters and have a word with her.  The messhall was deserted when he walked. He collected his meal from the ship's cook and went over to a table in the far corner of the room facing the dooway. He always sat with his back to the wall. It was a good idea to keep an eye on the entrance at all times, even when nothing on towards was expected. Halfway through dinner a few people started drifting in aimlessly. N'ko finished and rose, preparing to leave.
