BigBadLard vs. Grothgar (TXW Hardcore
championship) gimmick (Hardcore Match)
Greg Lowder - This match is a Hardcore Match for the TXW Hardcore
championship title. On his way to the ring at this time, weighing in at 280
pounds, from Morcambe, England, Grothgar!!! (crowd boos *)
["Infest" by Papa roach plays and Grothgar, Lord of Strondar enters
the arena ]
Greg Lowder - and his opponent, weighing in at 450 pounds, he holds the
TXW Hardcore championship title belt, BigBadLard!!! (crowd cheers ****)
["The Fat-Man, Flyer is in the house!!" BigBadLard's music hits the
arena as he appears at the top of the ramp and dances for a moment atop the
stage before running down the ramp and sliding into the ring. BigBadLard drops
the title in the corner and turns to Grothgar, who takes him down with a
clothesline. BigBadLard hops back up and delivers a dropkick to Grothgar. (ring, ring,
ring) Grothgar punches BBL. ]
Phil Moore - Here we go!
[BigBadLard executes a jawbreaker on Grothgar. BigBadLard moves back to his
feet. Grothgar is up again. Grothgar gets elbowed to his midsection by BBL.
BigBadLard gets caught with an elbowsmash to the face. BBL gives Grothgar a
reverse neckbreaker. BigBadLard gets up. Grothgar climbs to his feet. BBL kicks
Grothgar in the head. Grothgar hits BigBadLard with the double arm DDT into the
mat. Grothgar moves back to his feet. BigBadLard rolls out of the ring, followed
by Grothgar. BBL punches Grothgar in the face and tries to Irish whip him into
the ringpost but Grothgar reverses and BBL goes into it instead. As BigBadLard
stumbles backward, Grothgar runs in and clotheslines him. BigBadLard
moves back to his feet. BigBadLard lifts Grothgar into the air and delivers a
spinebuster. BigBadLard chants start. BigBadLard pulls the ring skirt out of his
way and pulls out two trash cans and lids, which he tosses all but one of the
lids into the ring.
BigBadLard gets ready to hit Grothgar over the head with the lid, but Grothgar
recovers quickly and boots the lid into BBL's face. ]
Greg Lowder - Oh, what a counter by Grothgar!
[Grothgar pulls BigBadLard to his feet. BigBadLard hits Grothgar
with the back of his elbow. Grothgar gets thrown into the ringsteps. BigBadLard
comes over and smashes Grothgar's on the ringsteps. Grothgar uppercuts BBL. BigBadLard
executes a neckbreaker on Grothgar. BBL hops onto the apron and does a moonsault
on Grothgar. Making the pin. Referee Bill Green counts ...1 ... Grothgar kicks
out. BigBadLard locks in a sleeper. Bill
Green is checking for a tap out. ... ... Grothgar escapes. BBL jumps onto the
announcers table and delivers a dropkick to Grothgar! BigBadLard chants start. Now BigBadLard
standing. Grothgar grabs the trash can lid and uses it on BBL's knee to take him
off his feet. ]
Phil Moore - Grothgar, giving himself more
time to recover by taking BigBadLard down...
[Grothgar picks BigBadLard up and starts to go
for the Strondar slam when he sees Greg Cage walking down the ramp. ]
Greg Lowder - Greg Cage... what the hell
is he doing here?!
[Grothgar uses a standing lariat to
take BigBadLard down and grabs a folding chair. He slides into the ring and
starts motioning for Cage to come in also. As Cage is preparing to enter the
ring, Mr. Carter runs out from under the stage and hits Greg Cage from behind
with a big kick to the head. Cage gets up and starts trading punches with Carter
but Grothgar comes from behind and nails Cage with the folding chair. Now
BigBadLard has recovered and comes around the corner of the ring with the trash
can lid in his hands and nails Carter over the head with it. Grothgar tries to
kick the lid into BBL's face again, but BBL dodges and nails Grothgar all the
same. ]
Greg Lowder - BigBadLard is taking
control!
[BigBadLard tosses Grothgar into the ring rolls
in after him. BigBadLard goes for the pin. The ref makes the count ...1 ...2
Carter reaches into the ring and pulls BBL off of Grothgar. Carter enters the
ring and nails BigBadLard in the head. Greg Cage slides into the ring with the
folding chair but Carter swings the trash can into his gut and leaves him
doubled over. As Cage is getting back up, Carter shoves the trash can down over
his head as far as it will go and bounces him off the ropes, delivering a huge
kick to the trash can that sends Cage to the mat. ]
Phil Moore - Heh, Greg Cage looks like a
trashcan with legs... and boy are they beating the crap out of that trashcan
with legs!
[Grothgar grabs the folding chair from off the
mat and brings it down over the trashcan, smashing it even more than Carter's
powerful kick. He then turns to BBL who if just getting up and hits him over the
head with the folding chair. Carter and Grothgar pick up BBL. Grothgar says
something to Carter and Carter nods. They then grab BigBadLard around the neck
and deliver a double Strondar slam onto the remaining trash can!! ]
Greg Lowder - Oh my god!
[Grothgar goes for the pin. The ref counts ...1
...2 ...3 as Carter pulls Cage out of the trash can and takes him to the top
rope for the Management Takedown!!! ]
Phil Moore - We've got ourselves a winner!
Greg Lowder - The winner of this match, and new TXW Hardcore championship
champion, Grothgar. But he needed a whole lot of help from Carter to do it!
