Cherokee Trails Genealogy is based in the heart of the Cherokee Nation.  There are several excellent research facilities nearby, and we have most major references in our own library.  We assist people in their attempt to locate Cherokee ancestors.

A Little Bit About Us. . .

Cherokee Trails Genealogy was formed in 1987.  Since that time we have helped hundreds of people locate their ancestors.  Our services are especially beneficial to those people who cannot find Cherokee records in their local libraries.

Who does the research?  We are a "mom and pop" operation.   "Mom" is Robin Mooney.  She has researched her own family and is now a registered member of the Cherokee Nation and the Daughters of the American Revolution.   "Pop" is her husband, Tom.  He has spent 21 years working with Cherokee genealogy and has authored the book, "Exploring Your Cherokee Ancestry."
